The Air Max BW was originally released back in 1991 as part of the Nike International series. Sometimes called the Air Max Classic, the shoe’s ‘BW’ suffix refers to the striking ‘Big Window’ bubble in the heel. Although the BW has consistently been released in a barrage of colours over the years, the staunch OG Persian Violet edition remains the silhouette’s signature scheme.
